Privacy & GDPR

This page explains how NOUS processes email addresses for controlled access to underwater camera streams, and how you can exercise your rights under the GDPR (EU) 2016/679.

🎥 Service: Underwater camera streaming
🔐 Access: Authorized login or temporary token
📧 Data: Email + access timestamps
🧾 Requests: gdpr@nous.com.gr

1) Controlled access

Access to NOUS underwater monitoring cameras is controlled and provided in two ways:

In both cases, an email address is required to identify the user and to deliver access (when applicable).

2) What data we store

In the NOUS system database we store:

  • Email address provided during login or token request.
  • First access timestamp (when access occurred for the first time).
  • Subsequent access timestamps (how often and when access happens again).

Purpose of processing

  • To provide controlled access to the camera streams.
  • To manage session duration (e.g., temporary access links).
  • To support security and auditability (access history).

4) NOUS obligations

Note: security measures may include encryption in transit (TLS) and other protections at the infrastructure level.

5) Exceptions

Deletion is not always absolute. NOUS may retain certain data if required by law or where there is a legal obligation.

If retention applies, we will minimize stored data and keep it only for the legally required period.

6) How to request deletion

To request the permanent deletion of your personal data from the NOUS system database, email us at:

✉️ gdpr@nous.com.gr

Tip: Include the email address you used for access and write “GDPR Deletion Request” in the subject.
